And then they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph and the baby. The babe was lying in the manger.

The Story of the Stable

Children's Version from Luke 2:i-7 NIrV

In those days, Caesar Augustus made a law. It required that a list be made of anybody in the whole Roman world.

All went to their own boondocks to exist listed.

And then Joseph went also. He went from the boondocks of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea. That is where Bethlehem, the boondocks of David, was. Joseph went there considering he belonged to the family line of David.

He went there with Mary to be listed. Mary was engaged to him. She was expecting a baby.

While Joseph and Mary were there, the time came for the child to be built-in.

She gave nascency to her starting time baby. It was a boy. She wrapped him in big strips of cloth. Then she placed him in a manger.

At that place was no room for them in the inn.

The Story of the Wisemen'due south Visit

Later on Jesus' birth, Wise men from the east came to Jerusalem.
